Artist Call for Submissions

The London Black History Coordinating Committee (LBHCC) is undergoing changes to the name, mission and other aspects of the organization. This rebranding and rethinking process is an important link to the future but also links to the past and the last twenty-three years of continuous community development. The London Black Heritage Council -Londonblackheritagecouncil.ca will be launched in February at our Opening event on Saturday February 1, 2025.

We are inviting submissions from artists from Southwestern Ontario’s Black diaspora, who can provide an original piece of inspired art, that can be used digitally and in print as a new logo, and for all communications about the new organization.

Artwork will be selected by a committee of the London Black History Coordinating Committee. The winning artist will be paid $500 for use of their work.
