SUMMARY:2026 Lewis Coray Connections Event
DESCRIPTION:The Lewis Coray Connections Event returns for its second year\, bringing together Black youth and young adults with Black professionals from London and the surrounding area for a day of career exploration\, networking\, leadership development\, and community connection. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to hear from Black professionals\, explore different career pathways\, build connections\, and participate in interactive workshops. \nEvent Details \nDate: Friday\, October 16\, 2026 \nTime: 9:00am-1:00pm \nLocation: Labatt Hall\, King’s University College \nRegistration Deadline: Wednesday\, October 14\, 2026 \nRegistration is required.  \nWho Can Attend?\nThis event is open to: \n\nHigh school students attending with a teacher/staff supervisor\nUniversity and college students and other young adults ages 18-24\n\nPlease note that this event is only open to participants within the age groups listed above. \nRegistration\nHigh School Students do not register individually. Students must attend as a part of a school group and be registered by a teacher or staff supervisor form their school. \nUniversity/College Students & Young Adults Ages 18-24 may register individually. \nRegistration closes October 14\, 2026 \nLink to register \nWhat to Expect\nThe day will include a panel discussion featuring Black professionals and three workshop rotations: \n\nMental Health & Wellbeing\nFinancial Literacy\nNetworking with Black Professionals\n\nThe networking session will give participants the opportunity to connect directly with Black professionals representing a variety of industries\, professions\, and career pathways. \nLewis Coray connections is designed to create a space where Black youth and young adults can see themselves represented across different professions\, learn about opportunities available to them\, build their networks\, and strengthen connections within the community.
