In February 2021, the London Black History Coordinating Committee and Pillar Nonprofit Network partnered on an event to discuss the decolonization of the philanthropic sector and how to better serve communities that have been historically underinvested.

Alexandra Kane (Black Lives Matter London), Andrew Chunilall ( Community Foundations of Canada), Martin McIntosh (HIV/AIDS Connection) and Malvin Wright (Black London Project) were part of a panel discussion moderated by Carl Cadogan (Chair, London Black History Coordinating Committee).
